Hey fellow Raiders!

It's been a long time since we've heard from Crystal Dynamics or Square Enix, but today we have amazing news!


Today, the official Twitter of the Tomb Raider brand announced that there is a new game on the works! 

It is called Tomb Raider Reloaded and it's scheduled to come out sometime in 2021 for both Android and iOS platforms.

The game will not be developed by Crystal Dynamics, instead, it's being outsourced to  Emerald Game Studios, a Canadian Mobile Games' Studio and published by Square Enix London Mobile.


It's an "action-arcade" game, strictly for mobile. But judging from the pictures and the Announcement Trailer, the game seems to be promising and with Lara rocking her Classic looks and her double pistols, it looks like we are going back to the roots.


"We" at Lara's Fridge are bit disappointed with this announcement. The Tomb Raider Community and Official Channels have been quiet for too long.

So we were expecting something bigger like a new Tomb Raider release or a game like Lara Croft : Temple of Osiris, not a mobile game. But we will be giving it the benefit of the doubt and be hoping for an experience just like Lara Croft GO, which was quite the surprise!
